Advance Mp3 Sound Recorder allows you to record sound from any source and convert to mp3. You can open an audio file or record directly from any device. When running the program an icon in the system try will be added, with right-click with the mouse you can directly play, stop, convert, etc. In the top of the main window you can select sound cards available and bit rate stereo or mono. In the left of the main window are icons to convert, pause, options and help. If you convert some file the target file will be saved in the same path of the source file by default but you can save it in a different directory. In the option window you have the following options:
- Recorder option. You can adjust channels mono or stereo, sample bit 8 or 16 bits, and sample rate from 8000Hz to 44100Hz.
- Mp3 settings. You can configure sample rate from 22050 Hz to 44100 Hz, bit rate from 96 to 320 bits, max bit rate from 260 to 320, mode can be stereo, joint stereo, dual channel or mono. When recording you need specify the source name first because if not an alert will appear with the message “Cannot create file... The system cannot find the path specified".
It also has a tag editor where you can add information to your audio file: Title, artist, album, year, any comment, and genre.
System requirements: Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, and Digital Sound card.
